Your Role And Responsibilities

This is a 6- or 9-month placement opportunity designed for students completing a placement year as part of their degree.

• Start date: January - March 2027
• Duration: 6 or 9 months
• Working model: Hybrid

As part of our hybrid working model, you'll be expected to work from our Mulhuddart Campus three days per week, with the remaining days offering flexibility to work remotely in line with team requirements.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

🌟 Foundational knowledge in one or more of the following areas: algorithms, data structures, software engineering principles, and Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). This placement is designed to further develop these capabilities through structured learning, mentorship, and hands-on project experience.

🌟 Exposure to one or more programming languages, frameworks, or technologies such as C/C++, Java, Rust, Go, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Python, Bash, or similar. Familiarity with software testing, automation, or scripting through academic coursework, personal projects, or previous experience is advantageous.

🌟 Understanding of modern software architecture concepts, including container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices, gained through academic study, projects, or personal learning.

🌟 Awareness of cloud computing concepts and platforms, such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or similar technologies, together with an interest in expanding your knowledge of cloud-native application development.
