Company Description The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is a state university established by the Delhi Government, with a strong mandate for research, development, and degree programs in Information Technology. Role Description The Post Doctoral Researcher role at IIIT-Delhi is a temporary, on-site position based in Delhi, OH. The researcher will work closely with faculty and research groups to design and conduct high-impact studies in information technology and related domains, including experimental design, data collection, analysis, and publication. Day-to-day activities include developing and implementing research methodologies, writing research papers and technical reports, mentoring student researchers, and contributing to grant proposals and collaborative projects. The role also involves active participation in seminars, workshops, and lab meetings, as well as presenting findings at conferences and to industry or academic partners. The Post Doctoral Researcher is expected to contribute to the Institute’s broader research agenda and help strengthen its position as a leading center of innovation.

Qualifications

• Completed PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong research background with a clear record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant journals or conferences.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of information and software technologies, or in applying IT to specific domain areas.
• Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and relevant tools or programming languages commonly used in the candidate’s specialization.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary research teams.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring students at undergraduate or postgraduate levels is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for academic writing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration, including participation in grant-funded projects, is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Delhi, OH and engage actively in the Institute’s academic and research community.
