Java Groovy Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Groovy application development and scripting.
• Strong experience in Core Java application design and development.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Java-based enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of concurrent processing, multithreading, synchronization, and thread management.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience working with container-based application environments.
• Strong experience in LLE triage, application troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Ability to analyze application logs, identify root causes, and resolve application defects.
• Experience debugging Java and Groovy applications across different environments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with application build, deployment, configuration, and release-support activities.
• Understanding of Agile development practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with application development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Groovy, Core Java, and Spring Boot.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components.
• Implement concurrent and multithreaded processing solutions for high-volume applications.
• Deploy, configure, and support applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server and container platforms.
• Perform LLE triage and investigate application issues across lower-level environments.
• Analyze application logs, error messages, system behavior, and code to determine the root cause of issues.
• Debug application defects and implement appropriate code fixes or technical remediation.
• Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve environment and application issues.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and technical validation of application changes.
• Support application deployments, release validation, and post-deployment verification.
• Monitor application stability and identify opportunities to improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for application changes, troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical discussions, and release-planning activities.
• Follow established coding, security, testing, and deployment standards.
• Provide timely updates on technical issues, risks, dependencies, and resolution progress.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 a year
