Position Overview

Ford is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to develop cloud-native applications that connect enterprise data and Product Lifecycle Management systems. This person will work across the full technology stack, including frontend applications, backend services, APIs, databases, GCP infrastructure, and AI-enabled integrations.

The engineer will also provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level team members.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Strong full-stack application development background
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on GCP
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Tekton, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build
• Experience troubleshooting distributed applications and integrations
• Bachelor's Degree

• Teamcenter or 3DEXPERIENCE/3DX
• Automotive PLM and Bill of Materials data
• Model Context Protocol servers
• RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic AI workflows
