## About the Role

Boeing is seeking Software Engineers at the Associate, Experienced, and Senior levels to join the Mission Systems Software team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The team develops, integrates, tests, and maintains software capabilities for the Operational Flight Program (OFP) supporting U.S. Air Force and international customers.

The role focuses on developing real-time embedded software for the Advanced Display Core Processor II (ADCP II), including new capabilities, software integration, verification, and testing across aircraft subsystems. Engineers work within multidisciplinary Agile teams and have opportunities to grow toward technical leadership or management.

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop, document, and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.

* Develop and maintain software code and integrate software components into functional software systems.

* Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments.

* Execute software test procedures and document test results to verify system requirements.

* Conduct and document software research and development activities.

* Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.

* Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams to develop, integrate, test, and maintain aircraft software capabilities.

* Support software integration with other aircraft subsystems.

* Work under general direction while contributing to software development and system-level objectives.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

* 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following programming languages:

* C

* C++

* C#

* Python

* Java

* Ada

* 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.

* Ability to meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person.

* U.S. Citizenship is required for the security clearance requirement.

## Preferred Qualifications

* **Level 3:** 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* **Level 4:** 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Agile or SAFe development experience.

* Experience with DevOps tools such as:

* GitLab CI/CD

* Git Bash

* Gradle

* Jira

* Jenkins

* Artifactory

* Experience developing embedded real-time software.

* Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).

* Ability to work effectively in team environments.

## Education & Experience

* **Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

* **Level 3:** 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

## Work Arrangement & Schedule

* **Location:** Daytona Beach, FL, US

* **Work Arrangement:** 100% Onsite

* Selected candidates are required to work onsite in Daytona Beach, Florida.

* **Travel:** Less than 10%.

## Compensation & Benefits

* **Associate:** $77,000 - $137,000 per year

* **Experienced:** $98,000 - $173,000 per year

* **Senior:** $124,000 - $220,000 per year

* Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
