SAP Production Support Specialist

Akkodis is proud to partner with a global automotive client who is seeking a SAP Production Support Specialist for a contractual opportunity in the Marshall, MI area.

Pay Range: $70/hr. - $78/hr. (W2) - The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

As a SAP Production Support Specialist you will bring a strong background in SAP ERP, production support, incident management, and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to drive rapid issue resolution while maintaining visibility across multiple business workstreams.

Responsibilities

L1 Production Support & Incident Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP S/4HANA production support activities.
• Manage and coordinate support workflows using JIRA, ServiceNow, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
• Monitor, prioritize, and resolve incidents based on business impact and severity.
• Ensure SLA compliance and escalate issues to L2/L3 support teams when necessary.
• Track recurring issues and identify trends through reporting and analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards for incident management and KPI reporting.

Finance & Integration Support

• Support finance operations including:
• Month-end close activities
• Intercompany transactions
• Accounting and treasury processes
• Banking integrations
• Wall Street, Backline, MICS, Vertex, and Monex processes
• Support integrations involving:
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Purchasing and supplier interfaces
• API and middleware connections
• Advance Shipping Notices (ASN)

Security & Access Management

• Support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Identity and Access Governance initiatives.
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications.
• Assist with security and compliance processes across SAP environments.

Training & User Enablement

• Coordinate SAP training and certification tracking activities.
• Support development and distribution of training materials and job aids.
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions across business workstreams.
• Create reporting and dashboards to track user readiness, training completion, and certification effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10+ years of IT project management experience leading complex technology initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience, including SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA production environments.
• At least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong experience with:
• SAP Cloud ALM (CALM)
• ServiceNow
• JIRA
• Incident and problem management
• Dashboard and KPI reporting
• Knowledge of:
• Accounting
• Treasury and banking processes
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Purchasing and supplier integrations
• API and middleware technologies
• ASN processes
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
