Control Engineer

Join Rennco, a ProMach company, and help design and develop innovative packaging automation solutions. We are seeking a Controls Engineer with AutoCAD design experience to support electrical controls design, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and technical support for our packaging equipment.

What You'll Do

• Design electrical schematics, control panels, and layouts using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and motion control programs
• Commission, test, and debug packaging equipment
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), drawings, and design documentation
• Provide technical support to customers and field service teams
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on new and existing projects
• Travel as needed to support equipment installations and customer projects

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of controls engineering or related experience
• Experience designing electrical schematics and control panels using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software (required)
• Experience with Rockwell Automation RSLogix 500/5000 or Studio 5000
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, network communications, and motion control
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Packaging equipment experience preferred
