Develops front and back-end of Direct-to-Consumer and Business to Business websites, primarily with the Shopify platform and its ecosystem. Craft online storefronts with custom code, build scalable web applications and integration with our ERP system.
Position Responsibilities:

• Develop on the Shopify Plus platform, themes, liquid programming language and custom apps
• Maintain and enhance existing Shopify Plus ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices
• Work in team environment to develop responsive front-end experiences in Shopify that engage visitors and convert them into customers
• Develop scalable responsive templates to provide progressive enhancement for modern browsers
• Build new Shopify sites and integration to 3rd party products and in-house ERP system
• Implement and test software products and plugins for Shopify integrations
• Contribute to continual front-end enhancements and conversion optimization on the website
  

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Strong competence in Shopify Liquid template language
• Experience with Shopify object/properties, AJAX API and Meta fields
• Experience with third party services and APIs, specifically plugins for Shopify
• Experience with Typescript/JavaScript backend development, JSON and RESTful interfaces
• Fluency in common web development languages, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery frameworks (React, and Node.js).
• Experience using AWS/Azure, Java, PHP preferred
• Experience with best practices for QA, cross browser testing and debugging
  

Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Web Development with design fundamentals; UX Design, or a related field. E quivalent professional experience considered.
Experience:

• 5-9 years of experience in web design, digital marketing, or eCommerce; multi-brand or DTC experience preferred.
