About The Role

We are looking for a Magento developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

You will be responsible for building e-commerce websites utilizing Magento, maintaining and enhancing existing PHP code, and developing custom PHP solutions using MySql database.

Skills And Experience

To be considered for this opportunity your skills will include,

• At least 2+ years development experience in Magento with a decent exposure to Magento 2.
• 3+ years experience with PHP/MySQL application development and troubleshooting in a live environment
• Seamless migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2 and work with highly loaded Magento modules, complex architecture and business logic.
• Proven experience building custom Magento extensions.
• Experience with customer theming of Magento stores.
• Expert-level knowledge in Magento software architecture (modules and templates) and best practices such as code efficiency, code optimization, object oriented programming, and commenting.
• Proficiency in jQuery and Javascript frameworks with strong HTML/CSS skills
• Experience with 3rd party platforms and integration
• Experience in working with and managing Linux Servers
• Ability to interface with developers, designers, marketing, and clients to quickly evaluate and resolve issues

Nice-To-Have

• Magento Certification
• CMS and opensource projects like WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal
• Experience in AWS
