We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data team and play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality analytics solutions across Forge Holiday Group. If you're passionate about turning complex data into meaningful insights, building robust data models and enabling better business decisions through data, we'd love to hear from you.

• 📍 Chester HQ (Hybrid Working)
• 💷 Up to £55,000 per annum
• ⏰ 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm
• 👤 Reporting to our Lead Analytics Engineer
• 👥 Part of our Data & Analytics team

What you'll be doing:

• 📈 Design and deliver scalable data models that power business insights
• 🔧 Build, maintain and optimise ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
• 📊 Develop impactful dashboards, reports and analytics products using Power BI
• 🛠️ Enhance existing data products and data pipelines to improve performance and reliability
• 💡 Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• 📣 Collaborate with stakeholders to champion data-driven decision making
• 📖 Apply data storytelling and visualisation best practices to create actionable insights
• ✅ Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
• 🎯 Contribute to squad initiatives aligned to business objectives
• 🤝 Work closely with business and technical teams to deliver meaningful outcomes
• 🚀 Support the ongoing evolution of Forge's modern data platform

What you'll bring:

• ✔ Commercial experience building ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
• ✔ Strong SQL and T-SQL skills
• ✔ Basic to intermediate Python skills
• ✔ Experience developing and managing analytics and BI solutions
• ✔ Knowledge of dimensional modelling, star schemas and semantic models
• ✔ Strong Power BI capabilities, including DAX and performance optimisation
• ✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• ✔ Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• ✔ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• ✔ A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

• ⭐ Experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines and Spark Notebooks
• ⭐ Building enterprise-scale analytics solutions
• ⭐ Experience within a modern Data & Analytics environment
