Title: Clinical Systems Analyst

PR: $45-50/HR

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Location: UChicago Hyde Park, 850 E. 58th St.| Suite 216 | Chicago, IL 60637 |

• First month to be onsite for training, 5 days a week
• Remote M & F, Onsite T-Th

Start: 10/19

Shifts – CST: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM OR 8 AM – 4 PM CST

Interview Process: 2 rounds, 30 min virtual and then onsite

UChicago Medicine is seeking an experienced Clinical Systems Analyst to support the design, build, optimization, maintenance, and ongoing support of Clinical applications across the health system. This individual will partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to enhance workflows, improve patient care delivery, and ensure the effective use of Epic technology solutions.

Day to Day:

• Configure, maintain, test, and optimize Epic applications supporting clinical, operational, and food service workflows.
• This team supports 80 different systems across the organization; no team is an expert on a specific application. This person should lean on SharePoint, vendors, and the rest of the team to solve problems. There is a one-month training program to ensure that they are set up for success.
• Support Epic integrations with systems such as Computrition (Food Systems Support), or Provation (GI documentation software).
• Partner with clinicians, dietitians, food service teams, and fellow analysts to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing production support across Epic and integrated systems.
• ServiceNow training and ticketing system support

Must-Have Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience supporting Epic
• Experience working collaboratively within a team of analysts, clinicians, and operational stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter

Plusses

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Experience supporting Provation, Computrition, and workflow management systems

Compensation:

$45 - $50 per hour
