We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for various projects. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, system design, and proficiency in various engineering software tools. The Controls Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet technical specifications and performance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for automation projects, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Utilize EPlan and Draftsight for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
• Implement firmware solutions for embedded systems, focusing on signal processing and system integration.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in project planning meetings to provide technical insights and updates on progress.
• Document all design processes, test results, and system specifications for future reference.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Skills & Abilities

• Familiarity with Siemens/Beckhoff platforms for prototyping control systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of system design principles and signal processing techniques.
• Experience using EPlan and Draftsight software for engineering designs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Compensation

Pay: $65,000.00 - $98,057.00 per year
