ABAP Entwickler mit nachweislicher Erfahrung im Umfeld PP/DS bzw. ePP/DS (m/w/d) - remote

As a Senior SAP ePPDS Developer, you will design and develop scalable solutions supporting advanced production planning and detailed scheduling processes in SAP S/4HANA EPPDS. You bring strong technical expertise in ABAP development, planning board enhancements, planning heuristics, and custom planning applications while ensuring seamless integration with SAP ERP and surrounding supply chain systems. You will work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP ePPDS Development: Develop custom ePPDS functionalities, enhancements, planning heuristics, scheduling logic, and automation processes. Build custom transactions, reports, CDS views, and Fiori-enabled solutions for production planning, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling.
• Planning Board & UI Enhancements: Enhance SAP ePPDS Planning Board functionality, custom layouts, and user-specific planning tools to support advanced scheduling and improve planner productivity.
• Integration Development: Develop and maintain interfaces between ePPDS and SAP ERP. Implement CIF enhancements, BAPI, IDoc, and API-based integrations, and support planning object synchronization and master data integration.
• Technical Design & Architecture: Create technical specifications from functional requirements, evaluate solution alternatives, estimate development efforts, and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and architecture principles.
• Testing & Deployment: Perform unit and integration testing, support defect resolution during SIT and UAT, assist with transport management, go-live preparation, hypercare, and optimize custom development performance.

• Work Experience: 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with a track record across multiple SAP APO PP/DS or SAP S/4HANA EPPDS implementation projects.
• SAP Technologies: Advanced ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO), Enhancement Framework (BAdIs, User Exits, implicit/explicit enhancements), CDS Views, SAP Fiori, and RFC/IDoc/BAPI development.
• ePPDS Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Planning Board enhancements, scheduling heuristics, custom planning functions, Product Data Structure (PDS), resource scheduling, setup matrix handling, capacity planning, and MRP/ePPDS integration.
• Integration Expertise: Proven skills in SAP ERP integration, CIF processing, planning data synchronization, custom interface development, and background job scheduling.
• Domain & Soft Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, with the ability to work independently alongside functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders.
