THE JOURNEY

1. Forecast Execution & Monitoring

• Own riders demand forecasts at city-hour level, tracking forecast accuracy and continuously optimize performance.

• Collaborate with local teams to collect insights and make decisions on application of them.

2. Data, Tools & Process Improvement

• Build dashboards and reporting tools to visualize key metrics and trends.

• Simplify and automate forecasting processes, collaborating with tech teams to implement scalable solutions.
   

3. Operational Insights & Recommendations

• Translate forecasts into actionable recommendations for rider allocation, operational planning, and efficiency optimization.

• Collaborate with local operations and other stakeholders to validate forecasts and identify proactive adjustments.

• Analyze patterns, trends, and anomalies to improve resource planning and overall service performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Math, Statistics or a related field.
• 1-2 years in a business-facing analytical role such as business analysis, operations or planning analytics, ideally in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces or the gig economy.
• Strong business acumen: you understand what drives demand and supply in an operational business and can connect an analysis to a concrete decision or outcome.
• Experience building or maintaining forecasts (demand, supply, capacity or financial), including tracking accuracy and explaining variance in plain language.
• Comfortable working with data and using SQL and Excel/Google Sheets to investigate problems, identify trends, and support business decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, comfortable taking a problem from definition to analysis to recommendation.
