Kelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer/Specialist to join our team in Orange, TX.

Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of industrial automation or process control experience preferred.
- Strong experience with DeltaV and/or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000/RSlogix 5000
- Experience with DCS/PLC troubleshooting in a live manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems
The successful candidate will serve as a key technical resource supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while leading automation improvements and long-term system strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as system owner for the sites control system
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for process control issues.
- Maintain and improve Emerson DeltaV DCS system including configuration, graphics, control strategies, alarms, and historian integration.
- Support and modify Allen-Bradley PLC systems including logic development, troubleshooting, and lifecycle planning
- Lead and support automation related capital projects, upgrades, and migrations
- Develop and maintain control narratives, system documentation, backups, and change management records.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams including outside contractors
- Support cybersecurity, systems patching, and control system reliability initiatives.
- Participate in after-hours/on-call support as required for critical system issues.
Technical experience
- 5+ years of industrial automation or process control experience preferred.
- Strong experience with DeltaV and/or Allen-Bradley Studio 5000/RSlogix 5000
- Experience with DCS/PLC troubleshooting in a live manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems, Industrial networking, and instrument integration
