Rust Developer

We are looking for a part-time Rust developer with some previous experience with Rust OR experience working with at least one compiled, statically typed language such as C, C++, C#, Java or Python

In this role you will

• Developing and testing complex applications while working closely with other team members
• Providing working solutions to business requirements through code and active participation in code reviews

We are looking for

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product managers, designers and architects, discuss strategy and contribute to optimal solutions
• Previous exposure and desire to learn Rust
• Familiarity with languages such as Haskell, Scala OR broader concepts in functional programming such as type classes and ad hoc polymorphism
• Familiarity with manual memory management
• Reasonably complex applications written in at least 2 different programming languages
• Exposure to (either consuming or developing) blockchain
