Software Engineer

About The Role

• We are looking for Salesforce Developers to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• This role will be responsible for developing solutions that are built on the latest technologies and patterns, including a strong understanding of AI-assisted development and harness engineering.
• This role requires partnering with the broader JLL teams based in the US and will provide the opportunity to interact directly with key business and leadership stakeholders.
• This role requires a background knowledge of commercial real estate and GSE Agency financing activities.

• Understand business requirements and implement them in Salesforce using up-to-date tools and technologies, current LWC frameworks and Claude Code (or similar) practices.
• Ensure that all the development work done aligns with Salesforce and JLL best practices.
• Prepare workflow documents, technical documentation and end-user guides.
• Work with business and product managers to do rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Ensure that features developed are fulfilling the established acceptance criteria.
• Active participation in meetings with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Strong knowledge of out of box Salesforce functionality and best practices around Salesforce configuration and customization
• Expertise in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflows approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements
• Expert engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex Classes and Triggers, SOQL, Aura, LWC Components and Javascript skills.
• Experience designing solutions to overcome Governor Limits/HEAP Limitations, etc.
• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of deployment patterns with Github with Gearset integrations.
• Expertise with VS Code and AI assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience with Excel, knowledge of VBA, Macros and Excel to Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with third-party API integrations.
• A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
