Junior C++ Software Engineer
Location: Kildare – Hybrid

About the Company
We are working with an established Irish technology company who have an excellent opportunity available to join their expanding team. They have a strong technical team, low staff turnover and an excellent working environment, with continued investment in AI and Machine Learning technologies. They are now looking for a Junior C++ Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Python and C++ development skills
- Experience developing within Linux environments
- Knowledge of Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of algorithms and software engineering principles
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Physics or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Build ML/DL solutions for defect detection, classification and measurement
- Develop production software using Python and C++
- Integrate vision software with embedded and edge hardware
- Take solutions from R&D through to production
- Work closely with software, embedded, electronics and optics teams
- Test and optimise algorithms using real-world datasets
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews and technical documentation
