Software Engineer (Back-End Development)

Job Summary:

Gakk Media (BD) Limited is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sr. Software Engineer (Back-End Development) to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in server-side programming, a strong understanding of scalable system architecture, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that power high-performance applications serving millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement back-end services and APIs using .NET and C#.
• Work with databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to design and optimize data models and complex queries.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Maintain and optimize the performance of the platform.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand business needs and technical requirements.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while ensuring the quality of deliverables.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in back-end development.
• Experience in the Telecommunication or IT-Enabled Services industry is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Microservice Architecture, and Design Patterns.
• Professional experience in C#, .NET, and .NET Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Dapper, LINQ, ADO.Net, and Async Programming.
• Proficiency in SQL Server including writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, joins, and views.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Understanding of testing methods, debugging processes, and code optimization techniques.
