Senior Full Stack Developer (AI Product Focus)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer AI Product Focus to join a mission-critical client project, acting as a bridge between complex business requirements and scalable technical execution. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of product engineering, AI application development, and cloud operations to help build and operate key production applications, including an AI Analyst chatbot, an AI Chart Builder, and a VSCode Extension API prototype. You will deliver systems combining React frontends, Python/FastAPI backends, real-time streaming, Azure-hosted AI services, and cloud infrastructure managed through Terraform and GitHub Actions

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time, streaming application features for AI Analyst and Chart Builder products.
• Build scalable, responsive React interfaces paired with high-performance FastAPI backend microservices.
• Optimize RAG pipelines, agent function calling, prompt orchestration, and conversation state management.
• Connect applications with proprietary workflows, including publications, house views, stock tearsheets, and entitlement-aware data search.
• Write clean Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Enforce secure authentication, bearer tokens, RBAC, and manage cloud deployments across Azure Container Apps and App Services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and external integrations.
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions using OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system reliability and deliver production-ready AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise building production systems in Python and modern TypeScript.
• Deep familiarity with FastAPI, React, and cloud-native web application patterns.
• Hands-on experience developing AI or LLM applications using RAG, prompt/agent orchestration, tool/function calling, and conversation state.
• Proven experience with Azure services, specifically Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure Container Apps.
• Strong understanding of WebSocket-based real-time streaming applications and REST APIs.
• Solid DevOps and infrastructure experience with Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and production cloud deployments.
• Experience building secure services using bearer authentication, HMAC or session validation, secrets management, and RBAC.
• Strong debugging, system design, and analytical skills across application code, infrastructure, and operational concerns.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work comfortably across full-stack boundaries.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with component and styling systems such as Tailwind CSS or Material UI.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, Azure Table Storage, or Log Analytics.
• Background in charting, data visualization, analytics, investment research, or content-heavy workflows.
• Familiarity with entitlement-aware search, secure content delivery, and Markdown rendering/sanitization.
• Experience with VS Code extensions or developer tooling.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking, custom CA certificates, and restricted deployment environments.
• Exposure to AWS or multi-cloud environments.
