Powertrain Expert (m/f/d)

Location: Winterthur

Job Startdate: by argreement

Workload: 100%

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of innovative and state of the art powertrain componenets, such as variable compression ratio system, supply unit drive, gears and plain bearings
• Layout, design and adaptation of powertrain systems for retrofit to existing engines
• Provide excellent support for the WinGD service business
• Develop powertrain components for minimum cost and maximum customer satisfaction
• Failure analysis and development of repair solutions in case of damages
• Support Licensees and handle requests for alternative executions and non-conformity reports

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering (M.Sc., B.Sc., Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent)
• Knowledge of design and stress assessment of mechanical components
• Experience in CAD system (NX preferred) & FEM software (ANSYS Workbench preferred) required
• Experience in EHD software AVL EXCITE & gear calculation software KISSsoft beneficial
• Fluent in English, German beneficial; good oral and written communication
• Independent, self-driven and target oriented way of working
