About the Position
Job Responsibilities
1. Design and develop fire protection systems and components in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
2. Prepare technical documentation, reports, analyses, and engineering calculations, including technical specifications.
3. Cooperate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in the design, verification, and implementation of fire protection systems.
4. Analyze and interpret building and fire safety regulations, ensuring that all designs comply with applicable requirements.
5. Review engineering analyses and evaluate design solutions, including alternative fire protection systems.
6. Support the approval process for deviations and alternative design solutions within the field of fire protection.
7. Monitor changes in regulations and standards to ensure that design solutions remain current and compliant.
8. Provide support during project execution, commissioning, and operational phases, as required.
9. Organizing and conducting practical fire safety training sessions and emergency evacuation drills
10. Selecting, maintaining, and operating required fire protection equipment
Job Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the design of fire protection systems and working within production and warehouse facilities.
2. Higher technical education (e.g., Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field) or Fire Protection Inspector qualifications supported by valid certifications/licenses.
3. Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken.
4. Excellent knowledge of building and fire safety regulations, as well as fire protection system design principles, with the ability to independently apply relevant standards and industry best practices.
5. Experience in large-scale investment/construction projects and flexibility in approaching a diverse scope of responsibilities.
6. Strong communication skills and excellent organizational abilities.
7. Experience working with engineering tools and the MS Office suite.
