Sr. Engineer, Product Design

Your Job

Molex is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Design Engineer to implement new and existing products that meets or exceed customer expectations and therefore undertake product development and solve products technical issue and perform research and validate on product accomplishment. Also, support supervisor in planning, development and execution of all R&D activities for the program.

What You Will Do

• Undertake product design and development, Solve products technical issue.
• Develop protocols and perform product verification and validation testing and build and test prototype designs for proof of concept.
• Performs design verification activities to ensure that design meets the specifications of the customer and relevant IEC and Telcordia requirements.
• Communicates product progress and facilitate decision-making with the core team and throughout their relevant functional organization.
• Ensures deliverables produced by their function meet appropriate quality standards and perform process-related design tasks to support pilot manufacturing.
• Provides technical support to customers, suppliers and inside personnel.

Who You Are

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree above in mechanics or related field.
• Good communication skills within different teams and work effectively taken with team members.
• Good ability to use relevant drawing software such as Solid work, NX, Pro-E or CAD for mechanical structure handling
• Good ability to Listen/Speak/Read/Write skills in English communication.

What Will Put You Ahead

• 5+ years design and proficient in Server Rack/Enclosure and connector products design and verification perform working experiences.
• Good ability to failure analysis and trouble shooting.
• Product design experience for fiber optical products is preferred.
