We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactively minded Design Engineer for Technical Offers and Orders to join our team. In this key position, you will act as the primary technical bridge connecting Sales, Procurement, Production, and Quality. You will be responsible for translating complex customer requirements into precise, cost-effective, and fully manufacturable engineering solutions—from initial inquiry straight through to final delivery.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Technical Offers & Quotations:

Review and analyze customer inquiries, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.

Prepare comprehensive technical offers, detailed quotations, engineering calculations, and product configurations.

Assess technical feasibility, identify potential engineering risks, and assist the Sales team during technical negotiations.

Collaborate closely with Procurement and external suppliers to obtain accurate commercial and technical data for quotes.

• Production Orders & Engineering Execution:

Verify incoming customer purchase orders against approved technical offers and specifications.

Generate, update, and maintain 2D/3D engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and production documentation.

Coordinate engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure strict revision control.

Provide direct technical support to the shop floor during manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning phases to resolve any production bottlenecks.

• Coordination & Quality Control:

Serve as the main technical contact for customers, clarifying engineering queries across the entire order lifecycle.

Collaborate across cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality) to ensure timely, compliant order execution.

Ensure all designs adhere to relevant international standards, internal quality codes, and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Software Skills:

Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent).

Strong command of MS Office Suite (particularly Excel for calculations).

Hands-on experience with ERP and PDM/PLM systems is considered a strong advantage.

• Experience & Competencies:

Proven experience in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and product configurations.

Solid understanding of standard manufacturing processes, engineering calculations, and international industry standards.

• Languages:

Good command of English (both written and spoken) for internal and external technical communication.
