Entry Level Bridge Design Engineer

In recent years, MJ Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Land Surveying, P.C. MJ is accepting applications for a Bridge Design Engineer to join our great employees in our Transportation/Structures Department located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clifton Park, NY in 2026.

The Bridge Engineering Responsibilities Will Include

• Designing of steel and concrete bridges
• Development of construction plans and documents
• Developing Engineer’s Estimates
• Load Analysis of ordinary and complex bridge elements
• Experience in bridge inspection
• Knowledge of NYSDOT and NYS Thruway Authority Standards and processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in bridge design/analysis.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Bentley MicroStation and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience In STAAD, MERLIN DASH And MathCAD.

• Ability to work within multiple design teams and meet demanding schedules.
• Have excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship

Salary Range 65,000 – 72,000
