Role Description We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to engineering design, project delivery, technical analysis, client coordination, and business development.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating with engineers, designers, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and oversee engineering calculations, designs, technical assessments, studies, plans, models, construction documents, specifications, permit applications, and reports.
• Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead based on project size, scope, and complexity.
• Provide technical leadership on engineering studies, modeling, GIS/CADD projects, field services, construction support, and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist with project proposals, presentations, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and other business development activities.
• Evaluate new technologies, engineering practices, regulations, and methodologies and identify opportunities to improve project delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior engineers, CADD/design personnel, and other technical support staff.
• Participate in occasional field visits and client meetings as project requirements dictate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain a Florida PE license within approximately four months.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management or technical leadership experience.
• Ability to effectively coordinate and oversee engineering and design support personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic or engineering modeling, and related technical software.
• Experience with water, wastewater, water resources, site development, or related civil infrastructure projects.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing engineering projects, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Experience working with databases, technical data, or engineering information systems.

• This position provides an opportunity to work on technically diverse projects while taking on increasing responsibility in project management, engineering design, and client interaction. Some regional travel may be required for site visits, project meetings, and field activities.
