Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of power distribution products from concept through detailed design, ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical design team, promoting best practices and standards.
• Review engineering drawings and design documentation for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design issues, support continuous improvement, and optimize production.
• Ensure designs meet UL 891, UL 50, and UL 50E standards, applying relevant safety and construction requirements.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in design and manufacturing within an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software.
• Experience working with UL 891 and UL 50 product standards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, automation, and design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
