Sr. Staff Hardware Design Engineer

Join an innovative technology organization developing next-generation AI compute and server platforms. This is a highly visible opportunity for a senior, hands-on hardware engineer to own complex board designs from architecture and schematic development through bring-up, validation, and production.

Who you are:

• 12+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience with a strong background in server, data center, enterprise, or high-performance computing platforms.
• Deep expertise in complex board-level hardware design, including server motherboards, PCIe cards, accelerator boards, or other high-performance compute platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with schematic design, high-layer-count PCB/layout, PCIe, DDR/memory interfaces, high-speed connectivity, component selection, and power delivery.
• Proven experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, validation, and technical issue resolution.
• Experience owning hardware through the full product lifecycle from architecture and design through validation, manufacturing, and production.
• Strong understanding of firmware and low-level software interactions during hardware bring-up and debugging. Firmware development experience is not required.

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex server motherboards, PCIe cards, modules, and hardware platforms supporting next-generation AI systems.
• Own schematic design, PCB/layout reviews, component selection, design reviews, validation planning, board bring-up, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Drive high-speed interfaces, memory subsystems, power delivery, and other critical board-level technologies required for high-performance AI compute.
• Collaborate with signal integrity, power, mechanical, thermal, firmware, validation, manufacturing, and system engineering teams.
• Work closely with ODM and manufacturing partners to take complex hardware designs from initial architecture through production.
• Support system-level integration and debugging as AI accelerator boards and server platforms are brought together into complete data center solutions.

• Help build next-generation AI server and data center hardware for one of the industry's newest major players in AI infrastructure.
• Own highly complex board-level designs with significant technical influence and visibility.
• Stay deeply hands-on while operating at a senior technical level and influencing platform architecture.
• Participate in the complete hardware lifecycle from architecture and schematic design through bring-up, validation, manufacturing, and production.
• Collaborate with world-class engineering teams developing the hardware platforms that will power the next generation of AI computing.
