About The Role
As an Engineer I you will be responsible for design and analysis of reactor mechanical components and primary system support.
You will report to the Manager of Reactor Mechanical Products, Reactor Component Engineering and be located at Cranberry, PA and work in a hybrid capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculations to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and AISC requirements.
- Analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools and methods.
- Documentation related to calculations and analysis.
- Design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware like manufacturing drawings, functional and design specifications, and qualification reports.
- Communicate with leads, project managers, and customers to coordinate activities associated with assigned work scope.
- Occasionally travel to customer and manufacturing vendor sites to provide on-site support, deliver presentations, and aid in issue resolution.
- We require a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related engineering discipline.
- 0+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of materials science beneficial but not required.
