Job Description

For one of our clients active in the defense sector, we are looking for a System Engineer to support the development and qualification of advanced embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve Guidance, Navigation, Flight Control and Aiming algorithms

Perform performance analysis using analytical methods and Monte-Carlo simulations

Carry out Verification & Validation (V&V) of algorithms and new designs

Support integration into embedded hardware using code generation and HIL test rigs

Improve generated C code and support embedded software integration

Participate in test campaigns and analyze flight/test data

Maintain and improve digital twin models

Model physical behaviors and perform simulations to support technical decisions

Collaborate with Project, Bid, Operations and Quality teams

Support calibration activities and acceptance test deviation analysis

Profile / Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics or equivalent

3–5 years of relevant engineering experience

Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of mathematics and statistics

Good knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink

Understanding of real-time algorithms and microcontroller constraints

Knowledge of C/C++ and Python is an asset

Experience with Agile environments

Knowledge of sensors, FPGA/VHDL or Model-Based Design is appreciated

Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive or space is a plus

Knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO 26262 is an advantage

Good communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics clearly
