- Design and engineer power transformers in accordance with customer specifications, IEEE/ANSI standards, and internal guidelines.
- Perform electrical calculations including losses, impedance, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, and insulation coordination.
- Support tendering and order execution with technical input and feasibility assessments.
- Interface with manufacturing, testing, quality, and supply chain teams during project execution.
- Provide technical support during factory testing, customer inspections, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with global BU PT engineering teams to align on standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical design-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in power transformer design or high-voltage equipment engineering.
- Strong knowledge of power transformer theory and electrical design principles.
- Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, and IEC standards.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate globally.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical.
- Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check.
