RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Interpreting customer supplied drawings and technical specifications to define customer needs.
- Performing calculations to ensure designs are of the highest quality and longest life.
- Creating parts, assemblies and drawings using Solidworks 3D CAD software.
- Creating part numbers and bills of material in Teamcenter product lifecycle management software.
- Working with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are in line with factory capabilities, cost objectives, and core competencies.
- Providing engineering and operational support to machinists, suppliers and assemblers.
- Executing engineering changes to legacy products.
- Developing and implementing cost reduction and process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Assisting with project planning, production coordination, documentation management, and execution activities to support organizational and customer objectives.
- Participating in cross-functional collaboration involving engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations to support successful project delivery.

- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Proficiency using Solidworks 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with EPDM Product Data Management software.
- A working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience creating part numbers and bills of material.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to support process improvement, operational efficiency, and project execution activities within a manufacturing environment.
