Read Channel Digital Design Engineer

- Work closely with architects to develop design specifications
- Be responsible for HDL coding, lint checking, CDC checking and RTL & gate-level simulation development and debug
- Produce verification and silicon validation plans
- Work with implementation teams to review results from synthesis, STA and logical equivalence checks
- Provide input to program managers to produce project resource requirements and schedules
- Develop automation to support design & verification tasks
- B.S degree in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum of 12 years of related experience, or M.S degree/Ph.D. in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum 10 years of related experience
- Hard disk drive and read/write channel knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Verilog, UNIX, Perl or Python scripting, and C
- Understanding of the IC development flow, from RTL to silicon
- Familiarity with low power design techniques
- Ability to work with teams at remote locations and in different time zones
- Self-motivation, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a team environment
