About us

We are a clean energy company that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable projects across the United States. Our growing portfolio covers utility-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS), and as a long-term owner we stay with every project from the first feasibility study through years of operation. We are expanding our New York team and looking for an entry-level engineer who wants to build things that matter.

What you will do

• You will support our engineering work across the project pipeline, learning the business alongside experienced engineers while taking on real responsibility from the start. Your work will include:
• Supporting engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stage
• Preparing energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence
• Assisting with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities and grid operators
• Reviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors
• Supporting construction and commissioning activities, with travel to project sites
• Analyzing operating data from our fleet and identifying performance improvements
• Contributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team runs on

What we are looking for

• A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
• A demonstrated interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheets
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical topics simple
• Initiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn fast
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is a plus but not required. We hire for aptitude and attitude, and we invest in developing our engineers.
