Product Design Engineer

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company seeking a Product Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys improving existing products, solving manufacturing challenges, and working closely with production teams rather than focusing solely on new product development.

What You’ll Do

• Design, modify, and improve existing products and components
• Develop engineering solutions to improve product performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability
• Create and modify detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation
• Work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to implement product changes
• Troubleshoot design and production issues and recommend practical solutions
• Support product changes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Evaluate materials, designs, and manufacturing processes
• Help ensure designs are practical, efficient, and manufacturable

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• 3+ years of experience in product design and manufacturing
• Strong experience with SolidWorks
• Experience modifying and improving existing products rather than solely designing new products
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
• Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, production, and other engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
