Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout preparation. The engineer will coordinate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate HVAC and plumbing designs into overall building plans, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily activities include preparing technical drawings and specifications, reviewing site conditions, optimizing system performance, and providing design support during installation and commissioning. The position also involves preparing documentation, responding to technical queries, and contributing to value engineering and energy-efficient design solutions.
Qualifications

  • Strong HVAC Design and HVAC system engineering skills, including load calculations and equipment selection.
  • Knowledge of Plumbing design and integration of mechanical services within building projects.
  • Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to building services and system performance.
  • Proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and familiarity with industry codes and standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC projects; prior consulting or contractor experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, prepare clear documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with attention to detail and safety.
