As Static Equipment Engineer you will be part of the ENCAR Business line.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers;
- Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i.e. Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents;)
- Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award;
- Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost);
- Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc.
- Optimize the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.
Experience: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies
Languages: English (B2/C1)
Technical Skills/IT Skills: familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i.e. PV Elite, Compress, or similar)
