Qualification Engineer

EHG is developing cutting-edge fuel cell technology for heavy duty mobility and large-scale stationary power applications. Our uniquely redesigned product is a significantly more compact fuel cell with high power density and lower costs of production. Faced with the challenges of climate change and the transition to a decentralised energy system, EHG seeks to provide high performance and cost-effective fuel cell solutions to our clients and partners.

To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking a Test / Qualification Engineer to design and run the test campaigns that characterise and qualify our fuel cell stacks.

This role requires full-time, on-site presence at our Nyon, Switzerland office. We're not able to offer remote or hybrid arrangements, so candidates should be prepared to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test and qualification plans for stacks and components
• Build and operate test benches, defining test conditions and instrumentation
• Run performance, durability, environmental and abuse testing
• Analyse test data, produce reports and derive design and process recommendations
• Define qualification criteria and support certification and homologation activities
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and ensure test safety
• Collaborate with design, materials and process engineering on findings

• BSc/MSc in mechanical, electrical, chemical or mechatronic engineering is mandatory
• Minimum 3-4 years of test/qualification experience with electrochemical, electrical or mechanical systems
• Experience with test bench design, sensors, DAQ and instrumentation
• Strong data analysis skills (ex. Python, MATLAB or equivalent)
• Knowledge of fuel cells, batteries or powertrain testing is a strong plus
• Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts
• Excellent spoken and written English/French is mandatory; German is a plus
