On Any Given Day, You’ll
- Collaborate with project managers in designing and administering municipal and civil engineering projects including:
- Street and roadway improvements
- Water and wastewater systems
- Stormwater management
- Site development for public and private spaces
- Prepare design plans, calculations, and specifications.
- Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables
- Perform construction observation and field coordination as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (municipal, environmental, or transportation emphasis)
- 2–5 years of engineering experience
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Experience with civil design and modeling tools (e.g. Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM)
- Construction observation or management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
