Job Summary
We are looking for you as a Designer/Design Engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Bad Neustadt/Saale. You are responsible for the design and engineering of components and machines.
Responsibilities
- You design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for our products.
- You create and maintain technical drawings, CAD models, and the associated technical documentation.
- You manage technical changes and customer-specific product adaptations from concept through implementation.
- You contribute to the creation of requirements specifications and functional specifications as well as risk analyses and FMEAs.
- You support development and validation tests and accompany the introduction of new technical solutions.
- You coordinate collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and external development partners.
- You maintain and manage technical data and bills of materials in SAP as well as the PLM systems in use.
- You support quality issues, complaints, and initial sample inspections and actively contribute to continuous product improvement.
- Successfully completed further training as a State-Certified Technician (m/f/d) specializing in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Initial professional experience in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Confident use of CAD systems and ideally experience with SAP and PLM systems.
- Sound technical understanding and enthusiasm for the design and optimization of technical solutions.
- Structured, independent, and responsible way of working.
- Team spirit as well as a solution-oriented and communicative personality.
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
