Mechanical Engineer (Thermal Chilled Water Systems)

This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - Polaris location.
Responsibilities
- Punctuality and regular attendance.
- Contribute to design projects and handle simple, tightly scoped design tasks with guidance.
- Create 3-Dimensional models using 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) package.
- Create and revise drawings and bill of materials
- Interact with employees, outside vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Build prototypes to support the development of product design.
- Other Duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or directly related degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required with Associate degree; Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of applicable engineering modeling tools.
- Technical knowledge of content primarily related to mechanical design
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team
