We are seeking a qualified engineer to design Closure components and systems that meet vehicle performance, safety, reliability, and manufacturing standards, while creating a multisensory customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Drafting engineering solutions for components and generating 3D models, layouts, and 2D drawings using CATIA or similar software.
  • Supporting complex part designs under supervision and collaborating with internal teams such as testing, design, purchasing, and manufacturing.
  • Developing cost and weight estimates, managing supplier communications, and resolving technical issues.
  • Preparing engineering documentation, supporting project execution by assisting with schedules, meetings, status reports, and contributing to project goals within established plans.

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; internship experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (CATIA is a plus), strong communication skills.

Decision-making involves proposing multiple design options, evaluating vendor proposals, and assessing design feasibility and manufacturability.

Work conditions: Mostly computer-based with some interaction in testing and manufacturing environments, occasional overtime, and travel as needed.
