Primary Job Responsibilities
- As a PSSR you will prepare and follow as closely as possible a weekly itinerary
- A Product Support Sales Representative will prepare daily call reports and other information, entered in CRM Series to be reviewed by District Managers and Director of Director of Non-OEM Strategies
- A Product Support Sales Representative will act as a go-between for the customer and WPI's parts and service departments.
- A Product Support Sales Representative will make customer contact on a regular basis to ensure customers are aware of the PSSR role.
- Attend training when available from Manufacture and WPI
- A Product Support Sales Representative will provide product leads and communications with a unit sales representative.
- Stay up to date on new product support offerings made available by WPI's Manufacture and WPI
- A Product Support Sales Representative will quote customers’ parts and service jobs as required coordinating with parts and service.
- Coordinate customer complaints, such as Manufacturer's warranty, policy adjustments, parts prices, etc., with the respective person in each department.
- Inspect & evaluate customer’s equipment, as required, for customer satisfaction.
- Develop customer profiles for assigned customers.
- Deliver Extended Warranty contracts and oil analyzer kits to customers as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree in applied discipline is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of previous experience.
- Must have a working knowledge of the above-titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
- Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standards.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
- Must be dependable and able to work independently.
- Must have good communication skills for dealing with customers and employees.
- Must maintain good client relations.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (as necessary)
- Must protect the company assets and interests.
- Must be able to travel and stay overnight.
- Must be able to supervise and motivate others.
- Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others.
