Key Responsibilities

  • Participating various trainings and improving the technical skills.
  • Develop a strong understanding of chemical process fundamentals and their application to industrial processes.
  • Develop and review process simulation models using process simulation tools.
  • Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and troubleshooting of process models.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Continuously develop knowledge in process simulation, advanced process control, digital engineering and digitalization technologies.

Qualification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
  • GPA to be more than 3 out of 4.
  • Experience 1– 2 years.

Competencies

  • Have the spirit working with others, and building team works.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interest in process modelling, simulation, automation, and digital engineering.
  • Good communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical quality.

Required Technical Skills

Chemical Engineering Fundamentals:-

  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, Heat & Material Balance, Fluid mechanics, Heat & Mass transfer, Process dynamics and control.
  • Good understanding of dynamic behaviour of process systems.
  • Knowledge of PID controllers, feedback/feedforward control, process variables, and control loops.

Process Simulation:-

  • Familiarity with process simulation concepts and tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, Petro-SIM, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Academic projects involving process simulation, modelling, optimization, or control will be considered positively

Programming:-

  • Good programming fundamentals with knowledge of Python and C/C++
  • Ability to develop basic programs, algorithms, functions, and data-processing scripts.
