Manufacturing Engineer, Equipment

- Provide manufacturing engineering for equipment, tools, and processes for our production facilities automotive Interiors projects; this equipment and tooling will be primarily automated assembly and plastics joining applications.
- Provide equipment and tooling cost estimates for new business quotations.
- Provide new equipment specifications and generate equipment statement of requirements.
- Fully support the Product Development Teams through regular meeting attendance, personal interaction, commitment to deliverables, and support for team members.
- Provide project management to ensure equipment and tools to be ready on time, within budget, meeting all quality standards, and meeting all pertinent safety standards.
- Coordinate equipment installation at plant and support start-up and debug phase. This sometimes requires extensive time spent at the manufacturing sites.
- Coordinate efforts with purchasing group to research and evaluate new technologies and suppliers that meet Inteva standards to expand our capabilities and advantages.

Position Requirements
- BS Engineering or Associate Engineering degree with plant experience.
- Project and budget management experience.
- 5+ years manufacturing engineering for equipment experience.
- English advanced.
- Experience in manufacturing of automated equipment, plastics welding/joining, tools and assembly processes.
- Experience as a controls engineer (2 years), with expertise in Allen Bradley PLC's, robotics programming (Sepro and Fanuc preferred), Cognex/Keyence Vision systems, AC/DC electrical power, and pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with automotive interiors manufacturing systems, tools, processes, and materials.
- Knowledge of machine controls and PLC’s, AC/DC electrical power, and pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of machine safety, ergonomic standards, and ability to read electrical and pneumatic prints.
- Valid visa and passport, and a willingness to travel to support U.S. plant launches.
