Electrical Engineer Retrofit (M/F/D)*

What You’ll Be Handling
- Creates and maintains controls engineering and design documentation, including sensor/actuator layouts, controls component order lists, electrical drawings, motor lists, etc.
- Travels to customer sites to document and audit current system configuration.
- Supports Retrofit Team in developing systems integration plans to minimize downtime for customer.
- Cross-references controls components, creates TGW part numbers, and orders necessary controls components in designated software tools.
- Assists with troubleshooting efforts to investigate and resolve design issues onsite and offsite.
- Provides technical support to Project Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Installation, Controls Commissioning, and other internal teams involved in installation and commissioning of TGW equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Controls-related field (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology) or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) or more years of Controls or Electrical Engineering experience in industrial or material-handling environment.
- Up to 20% travel, as required.
- Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with the ability to read e-drawings and AutoCAD drawings.
- Experience in Retro-fitting systems.
- Robust knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
