5V Tech are working with a globally leader in audio technology, engineering microphones and sound solutions used across studios, conference rooms and live stages worldwide. Their Duisburg engineering team is now working on the next generation of wireless audio technology, and we're looking for a Senior Development Engineer Electronics to join them.

This is a genuinely hands-on role where you'll take ownership of complex electronics development, working across architecture, PCB design, simulation, testing and system integration.

What you'll be working on:

• Owning the design and integration of complex electronic systems end to end

• Leading development projects, from simulation through testing and QA

• Developing and optimising electronics architecture and system integration

• Working with Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) simulation

• Conducting and moderating technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders

• Reviewing complex PCB designs and supporting hands-on development and testing

• Supporting EMI/EMC, ESD and pre-certification/type approval activities

• Mentoring junior and professional electronics engineers and driving knowledge sharing

What they're looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience developing complex electronic systems across analog, digital, high-speed, RF, power and bus systems

• Strong PCB development experience, ideally with Altium

• Practical experience with Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) simulation

• Hands-on experience with electronics measurement and testing, including oscilloscopes

• Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills

• Business-fluent German and English

Bonus points for:

• Experience with EMI/EMC, ESD and certification/pre-certification

• Experience with microcontrollers, processors, DSPs or FPGAs

• Background in audio, wireless or low-power electronics

• Experience with spectrum/audio analysers or measurement automation, particularly using Python
