Expectations And Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the design of electrical systems and devices, including electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring, and power systems.
- Install and maintain electrical apparatus for the generation, transmission, and control of electric power.
- Use professional judgment and expertise to ensure compliance with procedures and technical standards.
- Work independently, applying knowledge gained through education or extensive practical experience.
- Apply understanding and application of engineering procedures and concepts within own discipline.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge gained through experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, lighting, wiring, and power devices.
- Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.
- No prior experience required, but the ability to apply technical knowledge independently is essential.
- Relevant industry or project experience in electrical systems design or maintenance (preferred but not required).
- Experience working on electrical systems related to power generation, transmission, or control.
