Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering, Electronic-Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic design and embedded systems development.
• Fluent in English with strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer, including high-speed PCB design, differential pair routing, impedance control, and multilayer board design.
• Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers (Cortex-M series, HAL drivers, peripheral programming) and NXP i.MX8M SoCs, including board bring-up and low-level driver integration.
• Solid background in embedded Linux environments, with Yocto Project expertise, kernel configuration, and custom driver development.
• Practical knowledge of camera and display interfaces, including CSI (Camera Serial Interface) and DSI (Display Serial Interface).
• Strong skills in hardware debugging and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab instruments.
• Proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting, and embedded firmware development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, GPIO.
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance, hardware design for signal integrity, and low-voltage product safety standards.
• Experience in creating detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Description

• Lead the design and development of embedded electronic systems, from concept to production, with a focus on high-performance processors and microcontrollers.
• Develop and maintain schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer, ensuring signal integrity for high-speed and differential pair routing.
• Work with STM32 microcontrollers and NXP i.MX8M SoCs, including firmware development, bootloader configuration, BSP integration, and peripheral driver implementation.
• Integrate and customize Linux distributions with Yocto, enabling hardware bring-up, device driver integration, and middleware adaptation for new hardware platforms.
• Design, test, and validate camera (CSI) and display (DSI) interfaces, ensuring reliable system-level integration.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and proof-of-concept designs for new product requests and customer-specific requirements.
• Perform hardware validation and debugging, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers to identify and resolve design issues.
• Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and system teams to deliver optimized embedded solutions.
• Write, test, and debug embedded firmware in C/C++, ensuring robust and reliable functionality.
• Document design specifications, validation procedures, and test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support production teams during the industrialization and mass production phases, addressing design issues and ensuring manufacturability.
