Electronic Engineer

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer Consultant to join a Hardware Engineering team in an industrial environment.

In this role, you will take technical ownership of a broad portfolio of industrial controllers, accessories, cables and production test equipment throughout their lifecycle.

You will work closely with technical product owners, production, suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, compliance, manufacturability and long-term availability.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive board redesign activities related to component obsolescence, last-time buys, supply chain constraints and product improvements.
• Design, modify, validate and implement electronic hardware solutions for existing products.
• Perform verification and validation of design changes and document technical updates.
• Plan and execute technical investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electronic hardware and resolve technical issues together with production, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous product improvements and ensure long-term availability of existing hardware.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement technical updates throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience in electronics design and troubleshooting.
• Experience independently driving technical investigations, root cause analyses and board redesign activities.
• Experience with circuit design and PCB layout, preferably using OrCAD.
• Experience with testing, validation and implementation of electronic design changes.
• Ability to switch between long-term development activities and urgent operational issues.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience working cross-functionally in an industrial environment.
